Repair Options for Concrete Pool Decks

Concrete pool decks are prone to damage because it is exposed to a variety of factors that could affect it significantly, such as the freezing and thawing of ice, weather changes, sunlight, and pool chemicals. For cracks that are smaller than 1/8 of an inch wide, custom scoreline can be done to add character and design on the pool deck’s surface. If you want a more customized and pronounced design, like a logo or pattern, a concrete engraving is highly advisable. The lines that are cut or engraved are intentionally done on where the cracks are. This way, the gaps are masked while a new design is incorporated on the concrete surface, thus, providing a whole new resurfaced look.
